The throne armchair of the queen in original size, very rare and lovely. The chair legs end in golden paws. A replication in original size of the throne, which was found in the grave of Yuya and Thuya of Theodore Davis. Sitamun is the firstborn daughter of Pharao Amenophis III and his wife Teje, 18th dynasty, approx. 1400 B.C. She is a sister of Echnaton. The splendor armchair of princess Sitamun, worked in the Amarna style, is elegant and captivating in its simplicity. The princess got this armchair of her grandparents. It shows scenes from the life of the Egyptian princess. The gowns of the princess were worked in the original of driven silver. Partial covered with beaten gold and scrimshaws is the lionthrone still today impressive example of old masterly workmanship. Very heavy art cast, genuine. An unusual and exquisite piece of jewelry, a wonderful and valuable collector's item, an unusual piece of furniture.
